A reload bonus normally follows a qualifying payment after the account is already open. An operator can treat it as a new promotion even if the name resembles its welcome package. The terms above describe international casino versions. They do not establish Portuguese offers. Portugal's online gambling rules distinguish the payment, the choice to accept a bonus and the resulting balances. Keep those events separate when reading a repeat-deposit record.
A campaign can reward the next eligible payment, the first qualifying deposit in a week or a payment made after activating an offer. A later deposit can also belong to one of the stages in the original welcome package. Check the campaign name, notice and reference on the posted credit. The order of deposits alone cannot determine the agreement.
Keep an attempted payment, authorisation, settled charge and account credit in distinct lines. The first transaction visible at the bank may have expired or been reversed. An operator might count only the deposit actually posted. If a reward appears next to another payment, ask which one qualified and why. Use both the bank and operator references.
A notice can establish that a customer was offered a promotion. An activation can show that the account selected it. The actual ledger can show whether the credit appeared. Do not use one as proof of the other. If the evidence is incomplete, ask for the particular activation, deposit or account entry that is missing.
The SRIJ lists licensed entities, the approved addresses and the categories they can offer under Portugal's online gambling regime. An international website can use Portuguese and euros without being the Portuguese licensed version. Compare the actual domain, legal entity and product rather than relying on a common logo or group name. The Portugal licences guide explains the relevant records.
A licence for one category does not necessarily cover another game or a campaign offered on a different site. The SRIJ's promotional guidance links operator activity to the licensed products and operations recognised by the Portuguese regime. A review can accurately describe a repeat-deposit mechanic abroad without establishing that it is used or authorised by the Portuguese service.
Check the date where a brand has changed companies or domains. A current register can identify the licensed platform now. The original payment and terms identify who held the older account. If the operator says it moved the account, preserve the notice and ask which funds and promotional credits transferred.
The SRIJ's guidance on bonus payments says an operator should not automatically credit a bonus without the customer's express choice for that particular reward. An account making another deposit does not by itself show that it accepted a new promotion. Keep the original offer and any acknowledgement alongside the payment. The entry that names the credit can then be matched to the acceptance record.
Regulation 836/2015 treats promotional bonus credit as funds for play rather than as cash that can be directly transferred out. That distinction applies even where the credited amount is expressed in euros. Identify whether a number refers to deposited cash, unused bonus, resulting winnings or a later withdrawal. A combined balance may conceal the difference.
If a historical international offer used automatic activation, describe that version accurately and leave it attached to the reviewed service. Do not present it as the process for a licensed Portuguese account. Where the operator claims a local credit was selected, ask for the dated record of the particular selection rather than an acknowledgement of general account terms.
A qualifying minimum determines whether the deposit is eligible. The match rate calculates a nominal credit and the cap limits it. For an illustrative international offer of 25% up to 30 units, an eligible deposit of 80 units would produce 20. A deposit of 160 would reach the cap at 30. Those figures illustrate the calculation and are not terms for any of the listed services.
The terms can allow only one qualifying deposit in a cycle or apply a total cap across several. Those structures treat a second payment differently. Identify the particular rule before adding the deposits. If the operator applied a correction, ask whether it replaced the first amount or added another credit. A later ledger line is not necessarily a second reward.
Use the original currency. A bank account in EUR and an international cashier can show different amounts if the payment provider converted the transfer. Retain the net deposit and actual exchange record. A current exchange rate cannot establish the base used for an earlier promotion or turn a foreign cap into a Portuguese offer.
A repeat promotion can have one date for activation, another for the deposit and another for expiry of a credited reward. A separate batch of spins can have its own dates. If a record says expired, find the balance and condition it refers to. The offer ending does not establish that an older payment or withdrawal was reversed.
Keep the timestamps from the terms, bank and operator. An international system can use a different time zone from Portugal. If a deposit was close to a deadline, ask whether the terms use initiation, receipt or account credit. Each can occur at a different time. A difference in dates can be explained by time zones without showing that either record was wrong.
Preserve the terms for the specific period. A recurring campaign may keep its name while changing its rate, game list or qualifying method. A later page can describe a new promotion. If the original credit was posted late or adjusted manually, check which period the operator assigned to it.
A method can be accepted in the cashier but excluded from a particular promotion. A successful payment does not guarantee a credit. Check the original condition and the method actually recorded. The name of a wallet or bank in a review may not identify the processor or funding source that the operator used for the payment.
The SRIJ's guidance says bonus conditions should specify how a stake is divided between real and bonus balances. If use of the bonus depends on a minimum real-money stake amount, the guidance says that minimum cannot exceed the bonus value. That is a condition about using the credit after it is received, separate from the minimum deposit that qualifies for the offer.
The SRIJ also says that bonus credits used as stakes count towards player-set wagering limits. A repeat-deposit incentive does not create another allowance outside those limits. If an account action was refused, identify whether the operator cited a wagering limit, a bonus rule or a payment problem. The payment guide covers the records needed for the last of those questions.
The SRIJ distinguishes winnings funded by real money from the promotional portion of a mixed stake. Under its guidance, the share of a prize attributable to real funds belongs to the real balance and should not be subject to a bonus restriction on that share. If a combined figure is disputed, request the funding split and corresponding ledger entries. A total alone cannot show what the operator treated as available cash.
If an account credit was removed, the bank deposit may still have settled. Conversely, the operator may approve a withdrawal before the payment processor sends it. Ask for the account and transfer references separately. Compare the actual amount and currency against the receiving record if the claim is that money moved.
Bonus terms can also describe free rounds or a separate activity-based rebate. Use the no-deposit guide for a benefit triggered without a deposit and the cashback guide for an entry based on prior activity. Keep each benefit next to the event that caused it rather than treating all credits as a repeat-deposit match.
Portugal's advertising rules call for socially responsible communications, and the SRIJ's good-practice guidance cautions against misleading promotion terms. If the account dispute started with a message, preserve its original date, sender and link destination. A short headline may omit details about the qualifying payment or cap. The original terms and publication evidence address different questions.
If a message opened on a phone, keep the notification and actual destination separately. The mobile guide explains how an app and a browser can display the same brand while pointing to different versions. Check which operator made the offer before treating a message as part of the account history.
Use an established channel before replying to an unfamiliar request. A person claiming to release a credit may know the advertised amount without having access to the account. Never provide passwords, one-time codes or recovery information to verify a promotional claim. If money already moved, give the verified payment provider the actual receipt and reference.
Suppose an account still has an unused welcome credit when the operator offers another deposit match. The second offer might expressly exclude customers with an active credit, or its terms may treat the two benefits independently. Locate the combination rule and acceptance records. Two campaigns appearing in the same account do not establish that both apply to the same payment.
Some offers also split the reward between a matched credit and a later batch of rounds. If a payment produced only one part, ask which allocation was scheduled first and what terms governed the other. Keep the date and game for each batch of rounds. A ledger showing a percentage credit does not by itself confirm that the spin allocation was issued.
If a subsequent correction adjusted the deposit amount because of a charge reversal or processing error, identify which original transaction was affected. A correction can produce a new entry without creating a new offer. Compare the nominal credit before and after the adjustment and record the clause the operator cited. It may answer whether the original amount was replaced or merely supplemented.
Where an offer allowed a mixed stake, check the real and promotional shares for the relevant event. A statement showing a total stake can omit the split. Portuguese guidance asks operators to specify it in the terms and treats the share of a prize attributable to cash separately. Ask for the actual account and game entries if the calculation is disputed.
Keep a rejected withdrawal separate from a reward that had not yet been used. An unused bonus credit is not directly convertible into cash under the Portuguese account rules. Winnings attributable to real funds are a distinct item. If the operator says that a promotion prevented a transfer, ask what funds the request included and which balance it restricted.
For a prior international account, the original terms might describe different treatment. State which jurisdiction and version supplied those terms before using them to explain the ledger. A local Portuguese licence at a later date cannot make an earlier offshore account subject to the same bonus policy. The legal company, website and timing must match.
A provider can change its payment processor or website while retaining the same legal account agreement. It can also move customers to a different company. A new merchant name on the bank statement does not by itself distinguish the two cases. Save the original agreement and any account notice, then compare the company and trace references across the relevant dates.
If a service moved the account balance, look for whether the notice covers cash, accrued winnings and unspent bonus credit separately. A promise to move one does not establish the treatment of the others. If an earlier credit no longer appears, ask for the previous ledger and any transfer record. The new casino guide distinguishes a new website from a new operator or an account migration.
Keep the request focused when an account history has changed. The original payment receipt can establish the amount and date. The operator can identify the offer and credit. The receiving institution can trace money that was actually sent. If a reply gives only a current policy, retain it as a later explanation rather than treating it as proof of how an older transaction was handled.
Start with the exact site, company and account currency. Add each offer's activation and expiry, the deposit references and the actual credits. If a withdrawal was requested, keep its own amount and reference. A chronological record makes it easier to see which event lacks proof and which institution can supply it.
If there is no copy of the original terms, identify the gap. A notification can show what the customer received, and a ledger can show what the operator recorded. Neither can independently supply a missing cap or list of eligible payment methods. Ask for the dated agreement that covered the event rather than substituting a different programme that happens to have a similar name.
Finally, compare what each later answer resolved. A payment institution may confirm that the deposit settled while the operator still needs to explain a missing credit. The regulator can address a marketing or licence question without deciding the settlement. Keep each case reference and dated reply with the event it actually explains.
Keep the original units when sharing that chronology. The amount of a promotional allocation and the amount withdrawn can appear in different currencies or balances. If the two cannot yet be matched, state which conversion or reference is missing.
Does another deposit automatically accept a Portuguese bonus? The SRIJ's guidance distinguishes the payment from the customer's express choice to use that particular bonus.
Are the listed terms for Portugal? They describe international versions. Check the licensed local website, product and promotion separately.
Do bonus stakes count towards a player-set wagering limit? The SRIJ says bonus credits used for stakes count towards the relevant limit.
Can a bonus credit be transferred directly as cash? Portuguese account rules treat it as credit for play, separate from cash and any winnings.
What should I keep for a dispute? Keep the dated offer, acceptance and payment records, the credit and any later adjustment or transfer reference.
