Casino cashback in Canada is best understood as a calculation in a specific set of account terms. It does not mean that an operator returns every payment or insures the account against losses. The word can refer to money added to a cash balance, a restricted credit or a reward issued after a period of qualifying activity. The cap works in the other direction. If the eligible calculation returned CAD 32 under those same hypothetical terms, the amount would be limited to CAD 25. Check whether a cap is applied per period, per reward or per account. If the wording is unclear, ask for the calculation and the clause that controls it. Do not assume an unapplied balance carries into the next period.
Begin with the account record for the period. Divide entries into deposits and withdrawals, stakes and returns, adjustments, and promotional activity.
